When viewing my venue page I would think that I should only see the venue locations. Well, it shows all my events along with the venues. any ideas why?

yea it seems like the theme has something to do with it. I wish I knew how to fix it to only show the venues and not events.

Hi,
Alright, we can try a workaround by creating a template file.
Are you currently using any custom templates such as an archive-espresso_events or a single-espresso_events file in the location below?
wp-content/themes/yourthemefolder/

1) Login to your WordPress site using an SFTP or FTP client. Cyberduck and FileZilla are free options.
2) Browse to this location:
wp-content/themes/yourthemefolder
3) Location a page.php file or an equivalent theme template file and duplicate it and rename to single-espresso_venues.php
4) Open the new single-espresso_venues.php file for editing
5) Locate the line of code where it calls the content for the page
6) Remove it and replace with this:
7) Then save changes and check one of your venues pages.

@lorenzo-orlando-caum, I am using headwaythemes and I don;t see the page.php or anything equivalent.

Hi,
I took a look at Headway and it is not clear how to create a page template for it. The way it is set up is vastly different to 99% of WordPress themes. You may need to refer to their support for advice on how to create a page.php file that can then be converted to single-espresso_venues.php
