After registering for an event, my attendees get an email with problems with the venue.
We are based in the UK. Our venue is setup with the fields as follows. Address – completed. Address2 is left blank. City – London. State is ‘0’ which is the default. Country is UK. Postal code is completed.
At the top of the email under ‘here’s a copy of your registration details!’ in the highlighted box the venue reads ‘venue name, London, ,) the venue name is displayed accurately, it’s the ‘London, ,’ that appears unprofessional.
Further down the email under the heading ‘Venue’ above the google map, the venue is displayed more accurately with the venue name, address, city and postcode being displayed but the postcode as a comma before it, which is not correct UK formatting.
Apologies I now realise that I can fix this by creating custom messages, and amending the short codes. I wonder if you could perhaps consider adjusting this for UK users out of the box, perhaps by creating different email templates, set automatically depending on set country.
I will add this as a feature request, however the default email templates are created on install, before the Organisation Settings are set, so it may not be possible to do this without adding further message templates on a default install which currently I do not believe would be a viable solution.
