Hi there, On the HTML Invoice, I need to change three things: 1, The VAT/TAX number reads: “VAT/Tax Number: 12345” which must be a default, but I have changed to our tax number in General Settings, and it is not showing in the HTML/PDF invoice. 2, I added a custom question to the Registration Form called ‘Organisation’ and I would like the customer’s organisation (or company name) to appear under FNAME and LNAME. Do I create a shortcode for Organisation? How? 3, I would like to re-word the following line that appears on the invoice: “Please send this invoice with payment attached to the address above, or use the payment link below. Payment must be received within 48 hours of event date.” Where is that line templated? Many thanks for your unwavering support. |

Hi Michael, For 1 & 3, you go to Event Espresso > Payment Methods and input your VAT number and change the default message in the Invoice settings. For #2 you place a custom answer shortcode in the [ATTENDEE_LIST] section of the invoice editor (in the Messages editor). The shortcode will be |

Many thanks Josh, 1 & 3 worked fine. I followed your instructions for #2, and put [ANSWER_* Organisation] into [ATTENDEE_LIST], but the Organisation is not showing up on the HTML Invoice. Thanks, Martin |

Hi Martin, could you try this shortcode (without the spacing): [ANSWER_*Organisation] — |
|
Hi Lorenzo and Josh, Thanks, and that helped. But I can’t get the [ANSWER_*Organisation] to display on the HTML Invoice Template (Purchaser Recipient), in the DIV with ID=”client-details”. I put [ANSWER_*Organisation] into [ATTENDEE_LIST] but no luck. I’m sure you will have a ready answer – your support never fails to impress! Many thanks, |

Hi, Firstly I’m assuming you want the Organisation to display in the Invoice Bill To section? If that’s correct then in the default Invoice [ATTENDEE_LIST] is not added by default, so you will need to add it BUT it can only be added to the [TICKET_LIST] area. This means it cannot show under the Bill To section. I’m going to add a request to allow [ANSWER_*] to be used in the Main Content area as that would allow this type of modification. I can’t guarantee inclusion, as the developers may have a good reason for not including it in the first place, but it doesn’t hurt to request it. |

Further to this, I added a ticket and a Dev picked it up this morning and dealt with it. As it was a quick fix, he has added the ability for a shortcode called [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*] to be able to be used in the main content area (well pretty much anywhere really). That will be available in the next EE4 release. |
Thanks Dean, I’m now getting an error message: Unable to save registration form data for the form input: “19” with the submitted value: “” Form input 19 is ‘Organistion’. This error results when the field ‘Organisation’ is either filled or empty. Many thanks, |

Hi Martin, That message is usually due to duplicate questions in one registration form (e.g if you have Organisation in the Personal Question Group and also in the Address Question group). Please check your form for such duplicates. If one exists perhaps remove it or replace it with a slightly differently worded question. |
Update: The new shortcode that Dean wrote about in this reply is included in the latest release (4.6.27.p) |

Awesome!!! The [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*] shortcode works great in the main content area.
So if there is no Organisation, no blank line will show after Fname Lname. And thanks for updating the core! Martin |
