We have been contacted with someone who is trying to register for one of our events saying that their email is being flagged as invalid and stops their ability to register. It was reviewed and confirmed to be the correct email address being entered. Do you have any idea why this would be happening? The email being used is a .edu although those have worked in the past.
There is an email validation setting you can change, which could affect the form validation. You can go to Event Espresso > Registration Form > Reg Form Settings and change the Email Validation Level setting to “Basic”, then click Save. The other options there have more strict email validation rules.
