Hello
we are a chess school for kids and in summer we offer 5 weeks vacation camps.
The camps are from 9am to 4pm daily.
the parents can book weekly: whole day for 1 week, half day for 1 week or they can book single half or full days of the specific week….
so I created 5 camp events (weekly event).
and then I created tickets (1 week whole day, 1 week half day, monday full dy, monday half day, tuesday full day, tuesday half day etc.)
but it gives many options of tickets that are visually not nice.. is there any possibility, for ex to group and make may be dropdown for the single day bookings?

Hi there,

If you go to Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates.

At the bottom of the page are the settings for the ticket selector.

Within those find ‘Show Date & Time Filter?’ and set that to ‘Maybe show date & time filter’.

Then set the ‘Date & Time Filter Threshold’ to a value that suits. It is the number of unique datetimes required on an event before the dropdown will show, start with something low like 3 and then increase if needed.

That will display a dropdown of the datetimes on an event within the ticket selector which can be used to filter the tickets shown.

thank you I already know that. that is ok. but for each weekly event I have about 20 ticket types, if I want to make the weekly event bookable individually each day. so for example, parent could book: Monday Morning, Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday whole day and Thurday morning (like modules of the week). but this means I need to make all elements as single tickets and there is no grouoping methodology, for example a title: singe elements: Monday morning (and then click on it and it shows all options…

Apologies for the delayed reply but I’m not sure I follow.

Why can you not use single tickets on single datetimes within the event and then filter those down using the method I mentioned?

The above is currently the only ‘filtering’ we have on individual events/the ticket selector and I’m not sure I understand the problem enough to give a recommendation for anything else yet (if we have one).
