Is it possible to use event espresso with another website that is not by WordPress? I have existing website where i would like to add calendar and accept payments but the site is not by wordpress. Please direct me where to start. I have purchased EE4 licence. Thanks.
It doesnt run on WordPress. It is hosted on 3rd party which is being build right now. I dont have the site up yet but i needed to embed code for calendar on that site. If it cant be done then i may have to bring the domain to WordPress and have everything in one place.
If you can add wordpress to a subdomain or a subfolder on that same server, then you could install Event Espresso there. Or if you have another server with a domain where you have WordPress installed, you could install Event Espresso and set up your events there.
Then, you could add some embed code that would use an iframe to display the calendar on the non-WordPress site.
If hosting a WordPress site isn’t an option, then you could get an account on Eventsmart (our sister site). Then on Eventsmart you could set up all your events and get an embed code to go on a calendar onto the non-WP site. If you go that route you could get a refund for EE because you won’t need an EE license to do that.
