Hi,
I wanted to use the ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR shortcode within an event page so that I can display the ticket selector within the body of the event description rather than at the top or bottom of the page. I am able to use the shortcode if “Display Ticket Selector” for the event is set to yes. But then the selector shows up twice. Is there a way to turn off the automatic display of the ticket selector and still be able to use the shortcode within the body of the event description?

Thank you,
Marcia

Yes there is. Here’s a link where you can find example code:

https://gist.github.com/joshfeck/e2936c102f579e1f588299e29a9e2dc9

You can add the above to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file.

The code sets a flag the first time the ticket selector is displayed, and then it checks to see if the flag is set. If the flag is set, it tells EE to not display the ticket selector again.

Thank you – I’ll give that a try.
