Hi, It’s possible have a user role that can access and modify only eventespresso posts ? ( And not all the rest of the website? ).

I try a lot of plugins but they give me a lot of problems.
thanks
S.

Hi,

Dunno if it would help but we use the following plugin for member roles

https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/

And then we created a ‘Coach’ group. We stripped out the permissions and added in the relevant EE and general member permissions.

My coaches can view/edit and add events of their own but cannot edit anyone elses. They also dont have any Admin privileges (delete page, posts, users or antying like that).

I had to use trial and error to get it the permissions right.

Hi there,

Event Espresso now includes and ‘Events Administrator’ role that has full access to EE but no other areas of your sites Dashboard.

If you create/edit the user and set them to have the ‘Event Administrator’ they should have the access your are requesting – http://take.ms/Hcij8

Hi Tony, I try to give to an user “Events Administrator” role but if i try to create a post or a page with that user I can do this.
I have full access to EE but it seems that I have access to all the other areas, why ?

You can remove the capability to create a post or a page from the Events Administrator role. It’s really a starting point that can be customized by adding and removing capabilities.

You use a plugin like User Role Editor or one of the other plugins in this list.
