Does EventEspresso allow you to display/use variable ticket pricing based on WordPress User Role? I’m building a membership based site which will sell tickets to both “Members” (aka User/Member) and “Non-Members” (aka Non-users / the general public) where Members get a different ticket price?

Hi Blake,
Yes, EE does allow for member/non-member based pricing including multiple levels of members.
With EE and the EE4 User integration add-on you can set a ‘minimum required capability’ on each ticket.
The user can not register onto the ticket if they do not have the capability on their account. So non logged in users can not register onto any ticket with a capability set and if your user levels ‘stack’ capabilities (ie level_1, level_2, level_3 where each level has all of the previous levels capabilities) then each level has access to the lower level tickets if needed.

Yea, that’s the ticket! (Pun intended 😉 ) I didn’t see/search for that add-on, but that’s exactly it.
Just to confirm – both Member AND non-member (public) tickets can be setup for the same event. It seems that way, but just want to confirm.

Yes you can have any number of tickets within the event, each with their own capability.
For example – http://take.ms/K2MNZ
Standard ticket available to all, Member ticket available to any user with the ‘read’ cap. (You can use any)
Logged in users see this – http://take.ms/jf6nS
Non-logged in users – http://take.ms/ipn5e
