I uploaded the plugin The Events Calendar
By Modern Tribe, Inc. because the calendar and add-on features is something I’m looking for. However the plugin doesn’t work… is it because EE is downloaded? I’ve used it on my other sites without EE and it works fine.. Just wondering if there were conflicts due to EE if there are loopholes to make the plugin work. Thanks!

One thing to watch out for is both The Events Calendar By Modern Tribe and Event Espresso use the same custom post type slug for events,
events
You will need to change the custom post type slug for one of the plugins when both are used on the same site. You can change Event Espresso’s custom post type slug on the Event Espresso > Events > Templates page. The Events Calendar By Modern Tribe has a similar settings page where you can change its setting too.
