URGENT: Braintree Not Working!!

I just updated to the latest version of EE and suddenly I’m getting this error:

“The payment method Braintree was automatically deactivated because it appears its associated Event Espresso Addon was recently deactivated.
It can be reactivated on the Plugins admin page, then you can reactivate the payment method.”

I activated Braintree, went to payment methods and clicked the button to activate Braintree and when I click the button it takes me to a blank page with that error at the top.

Hi there,

The blank screen sounds like a fatal error is being thrown server side.

Do you have access to the server error logs? Or if you are comfortable using FTP you can add this snippet:

To yours sites wp-config.php file to enable error logging. Then follow the steps above to trigger whatever the error is again check /wp-content/debug.log for any errors.
