Hello,
We are using the EE4 Printable Tickets Add-on to allow our customers to print their tickets themselves. It works ok but we have 2 quesitons :
1. How can we build a ticket in CSS which has got a fix format?
2. How can we make the option “download in pdf” available for our customers?
Thanks a lot for your answer

Hi there,

You want you own custom ticket template/CSS?

If so you’ll need to add your own ‘variation’ for the ticket template, you can find more details here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/tree/master/docs/E–Messages-System

2. How can we make the option “download in pdf” available for our customers?

Can you provide more details, please?

Where would you like to do this?

Hi Tony,
Yes we want our own ticket template and CSS. We’ll have a look on the link you sent.

For pdf, we would like that registrant can have the option “download in pdf” when clicking the link behind “Print your tickets” in the “Ticket notice”: the url is in fact [TXN_TICKETS_APPROVED_URL]. Currently, when I click on this link, I can see the ticket ready to print but I would like to be able to download it in pdf also.

Is it something to set up in the Ticket Notice or the Ticket themselves?

Thanks

Ah ok, I understand now.

Currently, you can’t save the tickets as PDF’s.

One of the reasons for this is the Barcodes (and QR’s) are generated by the browser using a JS library, the PDF’s are generated server side and we don’t have a PHP barcode library to generate them in the PDF’s.

One option is to add some text to the ticket explaining how the user can use the Save To PDF function within the browser – http://take.ms/AiE2q

You can add that within a noPrint div to prevent it showing on the ticket print out.
