I am looking at EE4 for some upcoming events; and I was saw on the pricing page that you “can purchase now and upgrade later”
I was just wondering if the original cost was discounted from the new license; so you just pay the difference? Specifically, if I purchased the “Personal” license now; and wanted to upgrade to the “Everything/Business License” later; would the cost of the cost of the personal license be discounted from the cost of the everything license?

Yes, we can send you a prorated discount code for what you paid originally. So, if you purchase the EE4 Personal License now at $69.95, then six months later want to purchase the EE4 Everything license, we will send you a $34.98 discount to put toward the EE4 Everything license.
