After upgrading, notifications do not always get sent. Also registration code is not generated either when notifications do not get sent. Testing with Mandrill shows the email functionality is working fine though.

Hi there,

Can you open a ticket with WPEngine support and check to see if they have excluded the registration pages from caching?

There is some more information about WPEngine, Event Espresso, and caching in our documentation:

The folks at WP-Engine and made the appropriate Heartbleed API changes. While this resolved the problem temporarily, we are still not getting the notifications to be sent nor the registration code generated.

We are using the Enfold theme by Kriesi.

Hi, could you go to WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Messages.

Then click on the Settings tab. Drag each message type over to the right area to deactivate them. Then reverse your steps and return them to the right area.

Then try a test registration and let us know if anything is received.

Also, please ensure that you are running the latest version of Event Espresso 4.

Thanks

Lorenzo
