I just paid for EE4 upgrade. Input my reg key and hit update. The plug-in says updated but the site still says decaf and the decaf version number 4.4.1.1

What should I have done?

Hi Omar,

Can you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings, make no changes and hit save.

That will force Event Espresso to recheck the version number.

Does EE then show an update is available to 4.4.4.p?

This is the message on my pageÖ

It appears you’ve tried entering an api key to upgrade to the premium version of Event Espresso 4 Decaf, however, the key does not appear to be valid. This is the message received back from the server:
You have the correct Support License Key for Event Espresso 4 Decaf but your account only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.

First the license I purchased was for espresso 4 not decaf. second….. i guess i don’t understand. In either case can you help?

Hi Omar,

Follow these steps:

1) Login to your WordPress site dashboard

2) Go to WordPress Plugins

3) Locate Event Espresso 4 decaf and deactivate and delete it

4) Go to your downloads area of your Event Espresso account:

https://eventespresso.com/users/omarp/#ee4-downloads

Click on Event Espresso 4 and the latest copy will be downloaded as a zip file

5) Go back to your WordPress plugins page and then click on Add New –> Upload. Browse to the file on your computer and select it. Then begin the upload. After it has finished, you can activate it.

6) Go to Event Espresso –> General Settings and paste in your support license key ending in d9. You can find it on your Event Espresso account page:

https://eventespresso.com/users/omarp/

These steps will move your site to the latest version of Event Espresso 4 and active your support license key.
