Hi, I made an fresh/new installation (not yet inserted the license-key) of EE4 on a testsite, so far it is working, the addons are working too, today i wanted to upgrade to 4.9.62.p I did the upgradeprocess by FTP, because i cannot update automatically. I followed the instruction for upgrading with FTP on your website. The testserver is a seperate part on the server of the hosting company that allows installation of a website with the same domainname as the live website but with a special address to access and view/manage it. After the upgradeprocess i got a white screen while viewing the Homepage, dashboard acces is still possible. The debug log: Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /home/deb116704/domains/beleefdezandbak.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/exceptions/ExceptionStackTraceDisplay.php:227) in /home/deb116704/domains/beleefdezandbak.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_Session.core.php on line 562 please advise…. |

The following errormessage appeared below the menubar of the website; An EventEspresso\core\exceptions\InvalidClassException was thrown! code: CollectionLoader – loadClassFromFQCN – 295 |
Hi there, It sounds like there are files missing from your install. If you rename the Then delete EE from the plugins menu (you can also delete it using FTP if you prefer but it will take a LOT longer to do). Then download the latest version of EE from your account page. Go to Plugins -> Add new -> Upload Plugin, select the zip file you just downloaded and install it that way. Does it work then? |

That did it, Thanks! I have some more questions but i will make seperate posts for that. |
You’re most welcome, I’m glad installing through the plugins menu worked for you. FTP can often be a little unreliable and its usually much quicker to update through the plugins menu. |
