I get the following error message on my WP dashboard. Tried deactivating EE addon items and reinstalling but this has not resolved error message below.
Automatic updates cannot be setup for an EE addon because of an error in the file. Please contact support, and include a list of EE addons recently installed/updated.

Hi George,
Can you tell me which EE Add-on’s do you have active and the current version numbers please?

The following add ons are installed:
– Events Table Template Version 1.1.p
– Grid Template Version 1.0.p
It seems the Grid Template is what may be causing the issue. I deactivated this plug in and the message disappeared (this time). Reactivated plugin and error message appeared.
The question I have is WHY?

Hi George,
Those are the old versions of the add-ons. Remove them through WP-admin –> Plugins. Then download the latest versions from your account below and upload them through WordPress Plugins:
https://eventespresso.com/users/xipnos/#ee4-downloads
Once you are on the current releases, you’ll be able to do a one-click update in the future.
