I recently opened up a support forum with Event Espresso saying that I was getting security response error. I was told to update my strings in the advanced section and to delete cache. I did so and worked when I did so, today I received the same error and noticed that the strings are still listed there. Support to help troubleshoot so this doesn’t happen in the future again is much appreciated. Thank you. Below is what I have in the string.

wp-.*\.php
index\.php
/event-registration/
/thank-you/

I’m also noticing that the URI is displaying http://www.harperpearson.com/event/?ee=1 after I click “Register” the name of the page is harperpearson.com/event (that’s where I have the plugin installed) would that have something to do with the problem?

Hi Aaron,

If you view the source of the page that you linked to, which is:

http://www.harperpearson.com/event/?ee=1

and scroll to the bottom, you’ll see this message:

Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2014-04-09 13:33:19

Which means it’s still being served by WP-Super-Cache.

You can make it so this page does not get served as a cache file by adding the string:

event

to the do not cache list, then rebuild the cache.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ve added it to the list but was not seeing the Cached generated message before or after adding the string. Is there a way for you to see if it’s done correctly?

Hello,

A message regarding WP Super Cache would appear at the bottom of your page source. I checked two Event Espresso pages and did not see any caching messages so it looks like the exclusion rules are running.
