Update to EE3

I have entered a support code to update EE3 and it still says that I need to update. How do I force an update? Also I have made several customizations and I am worried I will lose them.

Hi Beth,

I have reset your license key. Please make sure you are using the key without the “FREE” on the end. Please remove the key from the field in your Event Espresso General Settings, save the blank field, then reenter the key and save again.

As for the customizations you’ve made; any customizations to core files will be overwritten during an update. You may want to use a software like DiffMerge to copy the changes out, then add them back after the update. Sorry, we don’t offer support for customizations to core files.
