Just updated EE to current version and it looks like this issue (which I would say is a bug NOT a missing feature) is still happening. Anyone want to hazard a guess when this will be fixed, or if there’s any other support for fixing it?
It’s a small thing, but sort of a big work-flow issue for me. This has to do with the way my complex real-world needs intersect with limitations and assumptions of EE — the only way I can figure out how to create new classes at all efficiently is to duplicate existing classes. It would be really really nice if the whole thing duplicated successfully.
We have an open ticket assigned to a developer to fix this. When there has been some progress made on it, I can update this thread.
