Hi there,
I tried to update Event Espresso on our development site (using WordPress 5.4.4), to test for any issues before we updated our live site. Unfortunately it reported a fatal error and crashed the site. Here is the error message:

Hi there,
That error means there are files missing from Event Espresso on your site.
How did you run the update on that site?
Follow the steps here to manually update/replace the version you have with the current version:
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-upgrade-event-espresso/#ee4-manual-update
That should fix the above error.
