Hello,

I just completed a restore of one of my websites that has Event Espresso on it. The restore didn’t go so well, as there are many, many errors. I figured out that the errors were showing up because that installation doesn’t like having old versions of plugins on the site. So i updated all my plugins.

Now I need to update Event Espresso on my dev site. Yet it says i should not enter a support key on a dev site, but you need a support key in order to update. How can i get around this? Can i update Event Espresso with a temporary key?

Hi there,

Did you purchase Event Espresso whilst logged into this account?

I ask because currently there is no license assigned to the account your hast posted with which we will need to investigate further if that is unexpected.

On your development server you can manually update Event Espresso, just leave the license key field blank on that server.

Download the latest version of EE from your account, de-activate and delete the current version installed on the site and manually install the new version through Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New -> Upload.
