Usually, the error above means the add-on has some missing files.
If you de-activate and delete the add-on, re-download a copy from your account page and add the plugin through Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin, does that fix the problem?

I’m assuming you’re running the latest version of Event Espresso 4 core?
If I delete And reinstall the plug-in. wil I keep my edited massages ?
Yes, you will.
Event Espresso does not remove any data when deactivating/deleting either core or any of its add-ons although it’s recommended to create a database backup before updating plugins just to be safe.
