Hi Support This is the url of my development site, Check the screenshot when I am using shortcode without show_expired=false But when I am using [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=false], it didn’t show all events Also please provide solution for slow loading of events on this page. Thanks |
Hi, My name is actually Josh. It’s not clear from your screenshot what’s wrong, because your screenshot shows the month of October 2019. If you can provide more details about the missing events I’d have a better idea whether this will be the solution: https://gist.github.com/joshfeck/1d0c78e541b4e24fd744b8805499bb6e You can add the above to a functions plugin or, if available, into your WordPress child theme’s functions.php file. The solution for slow loading of events will be to either update the server or migrate the site to a more performant server. May I ask which version of PHP is that server running? |

I mean to say that when i have used the shortcode “[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=false]”, then after using that the expired events are no longer displayed which is correct but after using that the upcoming events also are hidden or not displaying in the calendar. |
With a screenshot and the explanation given, we don’t have enough details to be able to know what the problem is but at a guess, your using datetimes as ‘upcoming events’ and the ticket assigned to those datetimes has expired (which is what Josh’s gist would fix. Using the ‘City Market at the museum’ event as an example, can you post a screenshot of the ‘Event Datetimes & Tickets’ section in the event editor, which is this section – https://monosnap.com/file/WGWkXHu9l7ITZ9oUC1UxFkFh13obpj |

Please check screenshots for “City Market at the museum” |
The ticket on that event has expired, meaning none of those datetimes are available and the event is expired…. so setting show expired will hide those datetimes Are you wanting users to be able to book on each individual datetimes of that event? If so you’ll need a ticket for each individual datetimes and assign that ticket to a specific datetime. |

Thanks for your reply,Now i am understanding what’s the issue behind this, Show expired works with ticket expiration date. Thanks once again. |
Not just the tickt expiration, but its part of it. So to be clear, with your setup if someone purchases a ticket they can go to EVERY instance of that event, is that expected? |
