When I create an Event Espresso Event page, the link which is generated does not work. When I paste in the link from the page into my website or other communications, my users are sent to a page with an Error 404 message. Pls. advise – if I can’t use the links this is of no use to me. BTW, this is a really poor way of handling technical problems – and having to pay for a “support token” is not very good product support.
Can you post a link showing the issue here, please?

May I ask what ‘this’ you are referring to here?
The support forums are a communication tool, we also provide email support if you prefer to use that?
No phone as we’ve found text support, using whichever communication method, works better for the issues our users face and allows us to work through each issue raised without trying to decipher a translation via phone.

Have you been advised by a member of EE staff to purchase a support token? I checked your account and can’t see any previous contact so I’m wondering why you need a support token?
We use support tokens to provide support for issues that are outside of our normal level of support, you do not need to purchase a support token to receive support from us if it relates to Event Espresso or an issue from our code. However, if you have a conflict from another plugin or some custom code etc then yes, we would require a support token to work on that as we can only provide support for ‘our’ code. I can’t give you an exhaustive list of what is covered as each issue is assessed on a case by case basis before we advise you to purchase a support token if needed.
