Unknown error codes on EE WP ticket purchase attempts, resulting in unknown erro

We have a event created on EE in our WordPress site. The same setup we’ve used in past years to sell tickets for our events. All the settings re the same, yet out of the blue we are unable to process the registrations.

The error code that shows is:
EE_SPCO_REG_STEP_PAYMENT_OPTIONS – _PROCESS_PAYMENT_STATUS – 2512

Our system runs EE(Registration and ticket purchasing) > Infusionsoft(CRM) > Bambora(Merchant account)

We’ve already had our Go Daddy host provider romove the caching issue. Yet the registrations are still not clearing our system. Calls with the Bambora and Infusionsoft support show that it’s a problem before any information gets to their system.

Any ideas what may be wrong?

Hi,

We’ve received your request for priority support.

I was able to log into the admin dashboard of the site, and found this error code in the Payment Methods Logs:

ERROR: 6 – [Loading]Unable to load merchant gateway for id 0

That’s an indication that the merchant ID has changed, and Infusionsoft has made some significant changes to their payment gateway. For example they now default to using WePay. Anyway, this same error message came up in this other topic:

They were able to get the matter resolved by finding their new merchant ID. I’m afraid Infusionsoft does not make it easy to get the ID, here’s their instructions for getting that ID:

Once you get that ID you can update the settings in Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Infusionsoft.
