Hello-

I am having trouble setting up pricing for my events. I am running EE4 Everything License. My website sells tickets to a theme park. There are several types of tickets you can purchase (1-day, 2-day, VIP etc.), the tickets are priced by Adult or Child and the ticket prices change depending on the date.

I am trying to set-up pricing for the 1-day tickets. The base cost is Adults $109 and Children $103 however on On May 26 the price increased to Adults $114 and Child $108 and then on May 28th the prices go back down to Adults $109 and Children. Then on June 16th to June 21st the tickets are Adults $114 and Child $108 and this repeats throughout the year.

Does anyone know how to set up this pricing? I am lost and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is anyone from event espresso able to help with this?

Hi there,

You can set up one price for each type of ticket. So for example on your 1-day tickets, you can set up a $109 ticket for Adults, and a $103 ticket for children. Then you set the sale end date to be May 25 for those two tickets.

Then you set up the tickets that go on sale on May 26, then so on.

Hello,

I don’t think that will work because the tickets for May 26th need to show on sale right now because people buy the tickets to the amusement park in the future. Or will they still show up as on sale now if I make the sale date as May 26th?

The Goes on Sale date does determine when the ticket goes on sale.

If you need to set up a different priced ticket that gives access to a specific date, then you still create a new ticket, but assign it to the specific datetime (in this case May 26). Or you could also make a separate event just for May 26 and set the prices for tickets accordingly.

I will try that, thank you! Will all these events show up on one calendar?

What shows up in the calendar is controlled by what you set for the Event’s datetimes.
