Hi Support,
I am using your paid version EE plugin on my site “http://fofed-s.sevenverbs.com/wp-admin/”. And I am unable to set the short description for events. I tried using “<!–more–>” in the text editor on event page but I am unable to get it in the API here:
http://fofed-s.sevenverbs.com/wp-json/ee/v4.8.36/events/
I am getting “EVT_short_desc” blank in the API. Also, I am unable to locate the Excerpt textarea to place my short description on the event page neither the “more tag” is working for that.
Need your help as soon as possible.

Hi Roma,
The EVT_short_desc field pulls the data that’s set in the Event’s Excerpt field.

Hi Josh,
I know that the EVT_short_desc field pulls the data that’s set in the Event’s Excerpt field but I am unable to find the excerpt field when I edit the event.

Can you please help me out why I am not able to figure out the excerpt field here?

Click the screen options tab on the top right of the screen, do you see an ‘Excerpt’ check-box within that section?
