Because of GDPR we have got the site to not register users however i am now finding that if a customer comes back to register for a new event they cannot register with the email they have used previously.
On the /registration-checkout/ page when i enter an email that has already been used the box goes red but there is no message to say why or to log in so any user who has previously bought a ticket for an earlier event cannot purchase tickets for new events with the same email.
How do i allow the use of the same email multiple times?

Just to note, you can still allow users to register (both as a site user and onto an Event) with GDPR so I’m not sure what this means.

Normally an error message is displayed when this happens and it gives the user the option to log in.
Can you link me to an event I can run a registration on to view this?
Do you have a test user I can input the email off of to trigger the error?
The feature that prevents users from registering onto an event if they have a user account and are not logged in (matched based on their email address) is from the WP user integration add-on, which it sounds like you may no longer need if you users are not required to log into the site?
Apologies It seems its only my email address i have now tested with others and it seems to be working ok i think i take it has somthing to do with being the logged in user?
Just a quick note this post is still not completely resolved i will be getting back to you ive just been so busy…
