Hi there, I’ve recently migrated from EE3 to EE4 and now there appears to be no option to proceed to register for an event past the event page. I have read through the forums and believe this may be related to the ticket selection option disappearing. I am using the latest version of EE4 with the latest version of the Calendar plugin. If you could please let me know some possible troubleshooting options asap that would be greatly appreciated. |
Hi Marissa, Can you link me to one of your events please? If you create a new page (title/slug doesn’t matter currently) and place the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode within that page, do you see a list of events? |

Hi Tony, This is the event page http://tbdc.com.au/events/instagram-10/ and this page is the page with the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode http://tbdc.com.au/events/. A list displays but it’s not really showing results correctly. |
Here’s a few troubleshooting steps that will help: 1) /events/ is reserved for EE’s custom post type archives, but you can change that to something else in Event Espresso > Events > Templates |

I’ve tried your trouble shooting steps and it appears to be a theme conflict. I am working on a solution now. Thanks for your help! |

Just curious, are there any steps that can be taken within a theme to try and fix the issue? Or does it depend on the theme? |
Hi Marissa, I had a question about this event: http://tbdc.com.au/events/instagram-10/ With Event Espresso 4, the ticket selector is used to start a registration. Could you go to this event in the event editor and then go to event options (top right area) and check to see if it is turned off? If it is off, then please turn it on. If it is turned on, then could you create a new page with the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode and publish it? The slug “events” is reserved so it will need to be different like event-listing or our-events. — |

Hi Lorenzo, The ticket selector is turned on under event options and I have created a new page using the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]. This can be found at http://tbdc.com.au/event-listing/ it appears as though this is displaying more details, however the ticket selector still doesn’t appear to be showing. |
Apologies, I should have mentioned not to use ‘events’ for the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] slug, WP will completely ignore a page with the slug events and will load the EE archive instead. Are you loading any custom templates within your theme for Event Espresso? Within another page, can you add the [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=”your_event_id”] and see if the ticket selector loads using that? You’ll need to change “your_event_id” to the ID of one of your events, you can find that within Event Espresso -> Events – http://take.ms/6QJKd In that example its 582. If you enabled WP_DEBUG do you see any errors relating to Event Espresso on the event list page? |

Hi Tony, Unfortunately none of the above solutions are working either. |
You’re most welcome, Marissa. Please let us know how this goes. |
