Box Type = Dropdown question.
We want to move a newly added Answer options value up the list and are unable to as the list is greyed out with the error messages below showing.

WE permanently deleted all the Transactions and Registrations in EE4 and confirmed that the tables ESP_Registrations and ESP_Registrations_payment are empty.
There are still rows in the ESP_transaction table. The EE4 transaction screen reports the transactions list as empty.

Can you please advise?

Because there are currently answers for this question in the database, your options to change the question type have been limited to similar question-types.

Message below dropdown list
Answer values that are uneditable are this way because there are registrations in the database that have answers for this question. If you need to correct a mistake, or edit an existing option value, then trash the existing one and create a new option with the changes. This will ensure that the existing registrations that chose the original answer will preserve that answer

Hi Chris,

You should still be able to add new options and re-order the options. What it won’t let you do is change the question type from a drop down or change the existing answer values. That said, you can go into the esp_answer table and delete any records there for that question, and then it will let you change the question type and existing values.
