I have EE4 running on two sites, and since the upgrade a few days ago I have been unable to edit or add tickets. I click on the settings button and it reloads the page, but does not open the settings. The same when I click on Add Ticket, the page reloads but no new ticket opens. It was working fine last week, now not working.

Hi there,

It sounds like there an issue with the JavaScript running on the event editor. I can see you are using Yoast SEO on the site linked to your license key, are you loading Yoast on the EE events too?

If you open up Chrome Dev tools and then open the event editor, look within the ‘Console’ tab, do you see any errors there?

Yes, that shows errors saying
load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=hoverIntent,common,admin-bar,wp-ajax-response,jquery-color,wp-lists,qui…
:41 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘replace’ of undefined

If I deactivate Yoast it works perfectly, as soon as I reactivate it then it stops working.

Can I simply deactivate Yoast while editing EE and then reactivate it? Or is there another good SEO plugin that I can use that doesn’t conflict?

You’re most welcome 🙂

Just to note for anyone else who finds this thread, the issue is with how Yoast loads within the admin, one of our developers investigated this, added a filter to Yoast SEO and created a pull request for it to be included within the plugin.

We are now just waiting for that to be included within the plugin.
