Hello,

Recently upgrading to Avada 4.0.1, I find that I am unable to edit an event. I’m actually having the opposite problem that Shauna was having in this thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/wp-4-5avada-4-0-1-breaking-ee4/. In particular,I need to edit an event that I previously created that I need to update, adding information about additional panelists that will be taking part in the panel discussion after the film. However, I am unable to click in the window/box to update any information. In fact the window/box show up as blank.

I am experiencing this same problem with all events. I have tried creating a new event as a test and experience the same problem.

Event as it appears: http://outflixfestival.org/?post_type=espresso_events&p=6387

WordPress 4.5
Avada Theme 4.0.1
EventEspresso 4.8.41.p

It doesn’t appear that the screenshot loaded. Let me try that again. Screenshot of Edit Event (Second Try)

Hi Jeff,

If you open up Chrome dev tools on that page and look within the ‘Console’ tab do you see any errors being thrown?

The visual tab not loading usually means there is a JavaScript error being thrown which breaks the editor.

Yes, I do. It says:

QMitgrate: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.0

>Uncaught ReferenceError: pum_shortcode_ui is not defined

    mce-buttons.min.js?wp-mce-4308-20160323:1

When you hover over the link, it shows this as the link address: http://outflixfestival.org/wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/assets/js/mce-buttons.min.js?wp-mce-4308-20160323. That is kind of strange since I don’t have any pop-ups on that page or any other event page.

The pop up maker plugin is probably loading its assets on every admin page. Are you able to edit an event if the Pop Up maker plugin is deactivated?

That was the problem. I’m back up and working. Thank you.
