I recently upgraded from EE3 to EE4 and have installed the Iced Mocha theme, unfortunately I am unable to have the homepage up with the slider.
I have set up events with featured image but still no luck.

Hi,
Can you clarify the problem please? Is it that events cannot be added to the slider or that the slider causes problems with the homepage?

Yes the slider causes problems with the homepage. You can have a look at the site to see the problem
