Try to remove a particular transaction and it goes to processing and doesn’t do anything. There is a message that comes up at the top that reads: An error occurred: An invalid registration object was associated with registration payment ID #158. How do I fix this or track it down?

Did anything get directly edited within the database? It sounds like the registration associated with the transaction isn’t in the database.

Not by me. Nor did I set this up and our web admin is no longer with the company. Is this something that will need to be repaired via the DB directly?

It may need to be repaired in the database directly if it can’t be fixed within Event Espresso’s User Interface. Does it allow you to edit the payment where you first go in to the Transaction, then you edit the payment, then save?

Yes, I changed it to Cash Delivered and it saved. But at the top when it went back to the transaction screen it reads, An error has occurred:
The payment was processed successfully but the amount paid for the transaction was not updated.

The error you saw would actually be expected if the payment amount wasn’t changed when you edited the payment. When you go in to edit the payment does it give you the option to apply the payment to specific registrations? If so, that’s one of the things you can change to allow the registration to be moved to the trash.
