We are unable to create tickets for any of our events in Event Espresso. When you click on the “Create Ticket” button, the page reloads and nothing else happens. There is no new ticket being created. We are currently using WordPress version 4.8.2, Event Espresso version 4.9.46.p, and the Divi theme. I have tried to disable all plugins except EE, switch to the default WP theme, rollback EE to 4.9.45.p and rollback WP to 4.8.1 to no avail. Can someone please assist me? |
Hi there, Can you check for any JavaScript errors in the browser’s console? If not, you can send access information for the website by completing this secure form and someone from Event Espresso staff can take a look. |

After I try to create a ticket, I receive this error in the browser console: Uncaught TypeError: $.cookie is not a function |
Thanks for checking, the error shows there are other plugins activated. Can you try checking the same page and check the console for the error again with the WP SEO plugin deactivated? |

September 21, 2017 at 10:26 am It seems that either the /joyride/jquery.cookie.js file isn’t loading or isn’t getting loaded in the correct order. If you view the page source can you check for the presence of that file? It should be just before the ee-qtip-helper.js file. |

It appears that this file is present in the page source. Screenshot: https://cl.ly/mey9 |
Yes, however even though it’s listed to load there, the actual file is gone. Do you see the difference between what loads and doesn’t load between these two URLs? ^^ file loads ^^ page not found error So your installation of Event Espresso appears to be missing at least one important file, and there may be more that’s missing. Here’s how to fix: You go to your account page and download a fresh copy of Event Espresso 4, remove the copy that’s on your site and install the new copy. You can use the tools available on the WP > Plugins page to remove and replace. Please note that your event data is not stored along with the plugin files, that’s all tucked away in the database, so removing the plugin files and replacing with new files will not affect your events and registration data. |

I have re-installed Event Espresso, but the error is still occurring. I even went as far this time to go ahead and disable all of my plugins except EE to ensure that there are no conflicts. This time, I have received two more errors that may help us pin point the issue. Screenshot: https://cl.ly/mf1X Thank you for all of the help so far! |
Can you take a look over FTP or another file manager on your server to see if there’s a jquery.cookie.js file within the |

The file is physically present within the plugin. It has contents inside the file as well |
Thanks for checking. Can you contact your web host and ask them to look into why this URL: returns a 404 error? |
