It seems we can no long edit the event description. If we are on “visual” we see nothing, and if on “text” we either see nothing, can’t type, or we type and then it’s gone. Normal pages and posts work fine. Any ideas?

I’m having the same issue. Sometimes I can view the info in the “Text” screen, but I’m never able to see the “Visual” screen.

Hi there,
This is likely the result of a 3rd party plugin that needs fixing. Do you happen to have the Jetpack plugin installed and activated on your site? If so, the recent update to the Jetpack plugin has a bug that breaks the editor. The Jetpack developers are aware of the bug and are working on a fix. In the meantime you can deactivate the contact form module within JetPack’s Debug > Access the full list of Jetpack modules available on your site page. They show how to get that page here:

Hi Josh – I do have Jetpack. I followed your instructions and deactivated the Contact Form module and it seems that I’m able to view the “Visual” screen again. Thanks for your help and quick response!
