My client is running 4.9.38.p and in a new event they cannot add ticket types. THey click on the button to add a ticket, and the screen refreshes without any change. I looked this up in support and you recommended disabling all plugins. I did, and there was no change in behavior. I then enabled all plugins and changed the template to twenty-fifteen and again there was no change in behavior. What can I do now? Thank you. |
Hi there, If you open up Chrome dev tools |
|
|
The following errors are in the console:
Note that I tried duplicating the event and still got the same results. |
|
FYI: I tried this on my other site gatewaysonline.org and it worked fine. |
Hi Lawrence, The errors from the console indicate that there are some conflicts caused by the theme or another plugin. If you temporarily switch to the default theme and temporarily deactivate the other plugins does it allow you to add ticket types? |

As I wrote, I DEACTIVATED ALL plugins (except EE4) and it did not work. I then downloaded 2015 and activated this theme, also with the same result. |
If you deactivated all of the plugins, why does the error message include a call to a script from the fusion-builder plugin?

Good question. Fusion Builder is part of AVADA, which was and is not activated (though it is installed). |
|
NOt getting anywhere. 2014 works. AVADA SHOULD work, as it does work on my other site http://www.gatewaysonline.org. But here on thebrownstoneny.org it causes the same failture. The other (original) theme also causes a problem, but I do hope to switch to AVADA (perhaps I will do so today). I reinstalled all plugins, set the theme to 2014, physically deleted the AVADA-related folders in filemanager, and the ticket system works. What do I do now? I know AVADA works. Just not right now on this website?! |
There may be a setting within the Avada theme or a setting within its family of fusion-builder plugins that needs to be changed so that it doesn’t try to load some of its scripts onto pages of the admin. So since you have things working OK on the one site, you can check the Avada and Theme Fusion settings panels on the site and compare the settings to the site you’re having troubles with. |
