Can I just check that with the current EE4 if there is a very quick fix to turning off the google map in the event details page? I understand I can make a custom template and then extract parts of your default public templates as I want but is there a quicker way ? Also in the registration for event page we have an annoying issue where each radio box question asked near the bottom of the form has its yes/no answer labels shown twice. This is because of a span tag with class ee-question-option-desc. Is it possible to stop this somehow via a quick setting or is this again manual template editing work ? You can see what I am referring to if you visit http://www.plymouthteachingschool.co.uk/events/the-plymouth-education-series-2/ and then register a ticket from that page. Thanks for your time |

Yes. You go to Event Espresso > Venues > Google Maps and set “Activate Google Maps” to No. Then you click Save.
You go in to edit each of the radio button questions (in Event Espresso > Registration Form > Questions) then remove the answers from the Description fields. You use the Value field for the answer, and leave the description field blank (or add a description if further clarification helps, but do not put “yes” or “no” into the description field). |

Thanks so much Josh, I will try these shortly. One more unrelated question. When using the date/time picker popup interface defining an event I have discovered that the time selected in the popup via the horizontal drag bar doesn’t tally with the tiny hours listed below the drag bar that state 12a 1p etc. To select say 4pm there is a difference of 3 / 4 hours. Is this a timezone issue ? |

Quite likely a plugin conflict where another plugin is resetting the server’s timezone. A quick way to rule out a plugin conflict is temporarily deactivate all other plugins. Another way to troubleshoot this is you could install the Health Check plugin. After the plugin is activated you go to WP → Dashboard → Heath Check → Troubleshooting. There you’ll Enable Troubleshooting Mode, then once that’s activated you’ll reactivate Event Espresso only via the Health Check’s Troubleshooting item in the WordPress Dashboard. |
