Hello, |

Hi Lisa, Was the Twitter widget something that was added as a customization? The reason I ask is because Event Espresso doesn’t include a Twitter Widget. Here’s what you can do to do regain access to the site and re-install Event Espresso: 1) You deactivate the plugins by following this guide: 2) Then you make a backup of your old copy of Event Espresso (just in case there were customizations made to it). Then you delete it since something isn’t right if it’s taking down the WP Dashboard. 3) You back up the database. 4) You download a copy of the current version of Event Espresso 4 from your account page and install the plugin with the zip file on the WordPress plugins page. |

Josh, Only problem left is that the Visual Editor doesn’t seem to be working right. I can only view the text if I select it with my cursor. It is also only showing the script, not the editor view. Any ideas? |

Hi Lisa, That’s usually caused by a JavaScript error being thrown on the editor page. If you open up Chrome Dev tools and load the editor, so you see any errors within the ‘console’ section? |

Here are the error messages I am not a developer so I have no idea what that means. 😉 |
|
By the way, I tried the editor in IE and Chrome. |

Hi Lisa, Another plugin may be contributing to the event editor not loading correctly. What happens if you temporarily deactivate all plugins and reactivate Event Espresso 4? Does the event editor then work? If so, reactivate a few plugins at a time and then re-test to pinpoint the source of the conflict. — |
