We are looking for a way to turn off the automatic notification that is generated and go to the person that created the event in EE4.

Hi there,

Those are the ‘event admin’ emails within EE, do you want them to go to another address or just stop completely?

We don’t have an option to completely disable them all in one step, but you can disable each message template.

For example if you go to:

Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates.

Then for the ‘Registration Approved’ message template, click on the ‘Event Admin’ context – http://take.ms/kfudK

(Any message type with a blue ‘Event Admin’ link has that context active)

Now in that template, remove the shortcode from the ‘To’ field – http://take.ms/h02QP

That will disable that context when you save.

You’ll need to repeat those steps for any message template that have the Event Admin active.

You can stop those by removing what’s in the To: field in Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message templates for any active message type’s “Event Admin” Messenger.

Thank you much. That’ll work fine 🙂
