Turn off Invoice method of payment

I’m using Stripe as my method of payment. But at registration checkout it shows Invoice as one of the methods of payment. I can’t figure out how to turn this off. I don’t see it listed in the payment methods settings.

You can turn of the invoice payment method by going to

1. EE dashboard

2. Click payment method
3. Select the Invoice
4. Click Deactivate

Can you private email us your site URL?

Also, you have to connect your license key to your Site.
you have go to Dashboard -> Event Espresso -> General Settings.
There you should see a field for your site license key.

Can you also tell me if the stripe payment method setting is showing up? In the screenshot, it seems blank.

For testing, let’s do the following. You can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ or any similar plugin.

Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting -> Enabled Troubleshooting mode.

That will disable all plugins and switch to a default theme and then allow you to enable specific plugins for troubleshooting. Once disabled you will revert back to the current state.

Also, using Health Check did not show any solutions. The invoice option is still visible on the checkout page and I don’t see it in the Payment Methods options.

There’s a couple of issues here.

The main one looks like you dont have the payment method capabilities.

Go to Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> Reset/Delete data.

Click the Reset event espresso capabilities button in there.

Does the payment method section then show the bank and invoice payment methods?

Second one seems to be a JS error, is there anything logged in the console on the payment methods page?

Resetting fixed the invoice issue, I was able to deactivate Invoice.
