When I run the update script through WordPress, I get the following error:

An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: Update package not available.

Please advise.

Hi David,

Sorry for any trouble. I have reset your licence key. Please go to the General Settings page and cut out the licence key. Save the settings. Add the key back and re-save. This should resolve the issue, but if it hasn’t within 24 hours, please advise.

Thank you for resetting. I followed your instructions and I’m still getting the same error. Are you saying it could take up to 24 hours to work?

Hi David,

Not sure what Dean meant by that. Can you let us know what the active plugins are on this site so we can investigate this?

Here is a screenshot of the active plugins.

Well, it looks like the image did not post. Here is a direct link to the screenshot.

Looks like that didn’t work either. I guess this text editor is stripping out the html?

Lets try this:

Hi there,

I looked into this further. Is the key set somewhere on another site? It looks like our servers were also getting pinged by greyghost5k.com/new.

Hi Josh, I see what’s going on. The url greyghost5k.com/new was the development directory for when were building the site. The path to the site is now in the root. greyghost5k.com. Everything got moved to the root once we went live to the site. Including the database. You can check this by pulling up that url. you will get a 404 page.

How can this get fixed?

I’ll try setting up a brand new key for this account. Did the updates work before the site was moved?

There was never an update during development. Thank you for resolving this for us.

Josh, just checking back with you. Are you able to provide a new key that works? Thanks.
