I’ve purchased AffiliateWP and installed without problem. Then installed the EE4 add-on for affiliates. Tested by making a purchase, and while the visits show in the logs, the purchase itself does not show as a conversion. Sent a support ticket to AffiliateWP and they say it’s an issue for EE4. There is no documentation on checking the integration. Please help! I want to make sureit’s running properly before we get bad pres from people that send purchaser and end up not being credited.

Hi Shaka,
May I ask which payment method you used when you tested it? Did the registration status get set to Approved after you made the test payment?

Hello Josh, thank you for the quick reply. We are using paypal for all of the payments.
The status was changed to “Approved” and the transaction went green.

Is there anything more with this? I can’t track the affiliate conversions, as none of the sales show up as conversions. It’s a nightmare because my afiliates are saying that I am not paying them and I am at a loss. Event Espresso is expensive software to purchase for not being able to do the 2 things that I need to do my events.

Can you go into your PayPal account and make sure that the IPN feature is enabled?

Hello Josh. IPN is enabled, though it doesn’t send notification to anything in event espresso. Is there a handler that should be enabled in EE4? I don’t mind following documentation for that, I haven’t seen anything indicating that there should be.

Hi Shaka,
Yes there is an IPN handler that’s set up as a page on your site (the transactions page). It’s usually set up automatically when you activate Event Espresso, but it’d be good to check to make sure the it’s publicly accessible.
Along with that, do you happen to have the WP Spam shield plugin activated?
