Hi, i am having problems with login in at https://eventespresso.com/ But i cant download anything. I need to download EE4 asap.. Is it something with the site, or is the problem my computer? |
|
I got it downloaded, but still there are trouble. i get the same error when i click on register here: http://familiehunden.no/test-event-espresso/ |
Hi Knut, could you try going to WP-admin –> Settings –> Permalinks and ensure that postname is selected? That should refresh permalinks on your site. Thanks — |

Hello Lorenzo, and thank you for your reply. Permalinkgs was actually set to Month and name, and i have changed this now to postname. However i still get the error when trying to register here http://familiehunden.no/test-event-espresso/ ? Someone told me this could be a problem with htaccess, can this be the case? Thanks again 🙂 |
Hi Knut, Are your events publicly published? If you go to Event Espresso -> Events. Edit the event and look in the top right – http://take.ms/51YN1 If you view your events page – http://familiehunden.no/events/ Then click on any of the events it will show nothing found if not logged in, does the same happen if you are logged into the site? |

Hi Tony. The events are published and public. and on this page http://familiehunden.no/events/, i get the same results if im logged in or not. The error page show this; http://www.yac.mx/httperrors.html?code=404&lang=nb&pname=yacnvd&uid=st1000dm003-1ch162_z1da1tgw&action=qf.svc.show.1.7 Dont know if this got anything to do with it? |
http://www.yac.mx is blocked by my firewall, so is that a service you are using or something you have never heard of? That is not something included within Event Espresso. |

I have no idea what that is. this is the errorpage i get when clicking on register http://familiehunden.no/?p=1845 |
Hmm I don’t get that when I view the event – http://take.ms/Z6t9P It doesn’t look like an error but seems to be yac auto filling the search field. What is the site language set to? (Dashboard -> Settings -> General -> Site language) If you edit the testing event, under the event title, is the URL there the same as the only loaded when you click on to view the event? |
|
|
You mean the permalink? Thats the same.. http://familiehunden.no/?p=1846 And language is english. Btw, EVENTON is a installed plugin and active as a registration system now, could this cause an conflict? |
Thank you.
Yes. I just wanted to confirm the correct permalink loaded.
Its possible yes, especially if it uses the event(s) slugs. The next step is to try a full troubleshoot which involves disabling all plugins, switching to one of the default themes such as twentyfourteen, flushing permalinks (just re-save them) then retry. It if it works re-activate the plugins one by one (re-testing between) to find the plugin that causes the issue. However I would recommend doing this on a development copy of the site so its out of view of your visitors, do you have a development copy of the site to test this on? Before going any further it is also recommended to backup up the site. At least the database but a full fite backup would be best (db and all files). There are multiple plugins available to help with this, heres a list some of the more well known ones: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/7-best-wordpress-backup-plugins-compared-pros-and-cons/ |
