Hi,
A couple of issues I noticed while clearing test data.
1st Issue
After clicking ‘View transactions’ from a registrant page then deleting the associated transactions I notices an issue. Firtsly the popup doesn’t appear to go away itself (spinning cog missing), then the transaction does not disappear from the page without a refresh. I also saw an error at the top of the page while the transaction delete was taking place: “An error occurred! Your request may have been processed, but a valid response from the server was not received. Please refresh the page and try again.” – This happens on every transaction trash.
2nd Issue
Under the transactions listings I appear to have two failed transactions that I can not remove because they are not linked to a registrant. I guess these must have been linked to regs that got deleted previously? How is this possible if they don’t unlock untill the transactions are removed.
Any ideas or ways to clear the unassociated failed transactions?

The second issue may be linked to the first one here. Can you find the version number of Event Espresso that’s active, as well as the version of PHP that’s running on your webserver?

Thanks for verifying. That’s a known issue with that version and there’s a developer assigned to fix the issue with deleting payments within abondand transactions. We’ll update this thread when a fix is ready.

Just to check was this fixed in the recent update?
The reason I ask is because the orphaned failed transactions have gone now after updating.

Not really, the issue that we’re working on now is with the pop up. Event Espresso 4 has a built in mechanism to clear away orphaned failed transactions with a cron task, and that’s been in for a few versions now.

Update: The bug that affected deleting payments within abandoned transactions has been fixed and the fix is included in Event Espresso 4.8.34.p.
