My client hired a web designer to create a new website, but the designer did not move the EventEspresso events to the new website. I see from your forums that there is not an add-in available that can do this transfer.

However, perhaps there is a developer who can do it? I looked at your recommended developers and none of them seemed to work with data.

1. Are any of them able to work with data, despite the fact that this is not listed on the “hire an event espresso pro…” page?
2. Do you have a recommendation on another location to find a person expert in doing this transfer?

Thank you.

Hi Lawrence,

That’s going to be a tricky way to do things because much of Event Espresso’s data is within the wp_posts table. I should ask first though, is that site running Event Espresso 3 or Event Espresso 4?

In that case it will be tricky to transfer events to the other website. This is because the post-related data for events are stored within the wp_posts table (because events are custom post types).

Some of the relationship data for Attendees (the contact list) is also stored in the post table.

I can advise contacting the developers in the list and let them know what you’re looking to do. Quite likely there will be at least one developer that will be able to take this on.
