Transfer to New Event and Ticket Type Tweak

Can you please set the sorting for the transfer of tickets to list in event order from current to oldest? I love this feature but I have to scroll through all the old events before I reach my new ones. Also, list them by the name and not their ID#. If anything, just change it to descending order by ID# vs ascending, please.

Any updates on a feature to transfer a transaction/registration to a new person? 😉

Hi Tammy,

Currently, the results are ordered by the Datetime ID and are ASC, they are not ordered by their Event ID, however, people generally create events roughly in the order they occur which means your Datetime ID’s will follow your Event IDs.

For example, if you create:

Some event 1
Some event 2
Some event 3

As you create the events they have a datetime, so regardless of the current ID they may have:

Some event 1 (Datetime 101)
Some event 2 (Datetime 102)
Some event 3 (Datetime 103)

So you get the appearance of then being ordered by Event ID, but they are actually not.

Also, list them by the name and not their ID#.

We could list them by name but you’re already searching by name and the results will be harder to follow than if by some form of ID.

So rather than the above, we could list them by the datetime start date. as for DESC vs ASC there’s pros and cons to both, but I’ll create a ticket to discuss this further.
