Hello,

I need detailed instructions so I can transfer the EE plug-in to another server, by keeping all transactions, events, and registration for events.

I have already tried to export the tables that are related to the EE plugin, after which I have inserted the tables related to the EE plugin in my database.

So I got all my transactions, events, registration, but now I have a problem that transactions, events and registrations have not been merged.

Any help!

Hi there,

Currently you can’t easily move your events from one site to another without copying all of the tables in the database.

For example EE makes use of custom post types for EE events and EE contacts meaning they are stored within the _posts table, copying only the _esp_* tables wont pull those details over.

Categories created in EE use custom taxonomies within WP, so again are part of the WP tables and not _esp_*.

Are you looking to clone/move the current site to another server?
