Hello – I would like to transfer a registered participant from one event to another. We had an event we needed to cancel due to low registration and we would like to move those registrants to the next scheduled event – without purchasing an add-on product to do so. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi there,
The Attendee Mover Add-on allows you to move a registration from one ticket to another, however, as you’ve mentioned you don’t want another add-on/product you will need to manually cancel the original registration and then add another registration to the new event.
To cancel the original registration you go to Event Espresso -> Registrations.
Find the registration in question, click to edit it and use the ‘Change Registration Status to’ dropdown to change the status to cancelled, then update. (Don’t set messages to send if you don’t want the user to receive a registration cancelled message).
Now go to Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over new event name} -> Registrations.
Click the ‘Add new registration’ button at the top of the list and manually add a new registration using the previously registrant details.
